Last Thursday, leading fashion photographer Mario Testino opened his very first exhibition in China at the Today Art Museum in Beijing. Titled “Private View,” the show spans Testino’s 30-year career, and displays nearly 100 iconic photos by one of fashion’s most sought-after snappers. Works on display include portraits of royalty, Hollywood stars and fashion models, presenting “the images that mean the most to me personally at the moment,” said Testino.
Supported by Burberry and Mercedes-Benz, the exhibition was officially launched by Testino himself, accompanied by Burberry creative officer Christopher Bailey and Vogue China editor-in-chief Angelica Cheung.
“Private View” runs until June 27 at the Today Art Museum, Building 4, Pingod Community, No. 32 Baiziwan Road, Chaoyang district, Beijing. +86 010-5876 0600
